A Reflection on Galatians 6.3

" For if a man think himself to be something when he is nothing, he deceives himself."

In the world around us we see endless examples of people falling into sin. Just watch "Cops" or most other "reality" type shows where deception for reward is the rule. If one isn't careful we find it easy to look down on these unfortunate ones in their moments of trouble, shame and despair and perhaps even revel in their pain. Raising up in ourselves a false sense of pride, thinking we are, above all that. Pride goes before the fall...and how great that fall can be. God is not a respecter of persons.
