A REFLECTION ON Ephesians 2: 8-9

For it is by God's grace that you have been saved through faith. It is not the result of your own efforts, but God's gift, so that no one can boast about it.

As usual with Paul's teachings, he only builds you up to set you down (or vice versa, sometimes). The very next couple of verses remind us that we have been created (through our belief and faith in Jesus) for a life of good deeds which he has already prepared for us to do. As the York Regional Police cars remind us - Deeds Speak!
